This photograph, taken from the Apollo 15 Lunar Module, shows the SIM (Scientific Instrumentation Module) bay in the side of the Service Module. It carried instruments to carry out large scale remote sensing of the lunar surface. Apollo 15, the fourth successful mission to land on the lunar surface.
